Your adventure begins in Fes, traveling through the Middle Atlas Mountains. Our first stop is Ifrane, often called the “Switzerland of Morocco” for its unique alpine style. We continue to Azrou’s cedar forests, home to wild Barbary macaques.
After a lunch stop in Midelt, we drive through the scenic Ziz Valley with its palm groves and Berber villages before arriving at the majestic Merzouga Desert. In the evening, embark on a camel trek into the heart of the Erg Chebbi dunes to witness a spectacular desert sunset. Spend the night in a luxury desert camp, enjoying a traditional Moroccan dinner and local music under the stars.
Wake up to a stunning sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, enjoy a day exploring the surrounding desert landscapes. Visit the nomadic families, explore Khamlia village to hear Gnawa music, and discover the black desert’s fossil fields. In the afternoon, you can relax or try sandboarding before another unforgettable night in the desert camp, with a delicious dinner and starlit skies.
After breakfast, we head to Rissani, an authentic Moroccan town with a lively market and historical significance as the region’s former capital. We then continue to the dramatic Todra Gorge, famous for its 300-meter-high cliffs — a paradise for climbers and nature lovers.
The journey continues to Dades Valley, known for its stunning rock formations and kasbahs. You’ll spend the night in a cozy hotel or riad, enjoying dinner and breakfast.
On the final day, we pass through the Valley of Roses, famous for its fragrant rose products, and Skoura Oasis with its palm groves and ancient kasbahs. We reach Ouarzazate, the “Hollywood of Morocco,” known for its film studios.
Next, explore the UNESCO-listed Ait Ben Haddou, an iconic fortified village that has served as a backdrop for movies like Gladiator and Game of Thrones. From there, we cross the High Atlas Mountains via the scenic Tizi n’Tichka pass before arriving in Marrakech by evening, where your unforgettable journey ends.
