Stroll through its picturesque medina, capturing the vibrant alleys and charming squares. After exploring the Blue City, continue towards Fes, Morocco’s cultural capital, where you’ll settle into a traditional riad for the night.
Dive into the heart of Fes el-Bali, a UNESCO World Heritage medina packed with over 9,000 winding alleys. Your expert guide will lead you through historic landmarks like the Al Quaraouiyine University — the oldest in the world — the colorful tanneries, and the beautifully intricate Bou Inania Madrasa. You’ll also visit the Royal Palace gates and discover hidden artisan workshops. The rest of the evening is yours to relax or wander the vibrant souks.
Leave the city behind as you head south through the Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping at Ifrane, a charming alpine-style town nicknamed the “Switzerland of Morocco.” Pass through Azrou’s cedar forests, where you might spot wild Barbary monkeys. After lunch in Midelt, journey through the Ziz Valley, known for its lush palm groves and kasbahs. By sunset, arrive in Merzouga, where camels await to guide you across the towering Erg Chebbi dunes to your luxury desert camp. Enjoy a traditional Berber dinner under the stars, accompanied by local music.
Wake up early to witness a spectacular Sahara sunrise before riding your camel back to Merzouga. Visit Rissani, the birthplace of Morocco’s ruling dynasty and home to a bustling traditional market. Continue to the stunning Todra Gorge, where sheer cliffs reach over 300 meters high — perfect for a scenic walk. By evening, arrive in the Dades Valley, known for its rugged rock formations and ancient kasbahs, where you’ll spend the night in a cozy hotel overlooking the valley.
Journey through the Valley of Roses, famous for its fragrant rose fields and annual festival. Pass through Skoura’s palm groves and head to Ouarzazate, Morocco’s Hollywood, where movies like Gladiator and Game of Thrones were filmed. The highlight of the day is the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a striking UNESCO World Heritage Site. Walk through this ancient fortified village and admire the mudbrick architecture that has stood for centuries. Spend the night in a nearby traditional kasbah.
Cross the majestic High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, the highest road in Morocco, offering breathtaking views and photo stops along the way. Visit a local argan oil cooperative to learn about this famous Moroccan product. By afternoon, arrive in Marrakech, where you can soak in the lively atmosphere of Jemaa el-Fnaa Square, bustling with street performers, musicians, and food stalls.
Explore the rich history and vibrant energy of Marrakech with a guided tour of its top landmarks. Visit the Koutoubia Mosque, the stunning Bahia Palace, the Saadian Tombs, and the tranquil Majorelle Garden — once owned by Yves Saint Laurent. Dive into the medina’s labyrinth of souks, where artisans craft everything from leather goods to lanterns. Spend your final evening experiencing the electric charm of the city, perhaps with dinner in a rooftop restaurant overlooking the bustling square.
After breakfast, enjoy some free time for last-minute shopping or sightseeing before we transfer you to the Marrakech airport (or your preferred location).
