    8 days tour from Ouarzazate to desert - Fes and Marrakech

    Day 1: Ouarzazate – Agdz – Zagora

    Begin your tour in Ouarzazate, known as the “Gateway to the Desert.” Travel through the scenic Anti-Atlas Mountains and stop in Agdz, where you can visit the Kasbah of Tamnougalt, an ancient fortress with views of the Draa Valley. Continue southward along the Draa Valley, passing palm groves and traditional kasbahs before reaching Zagora, where you will spend the night. Zagora is a perfect place to relax in luxury desert camp.

    Day 2: Zagora – Alnif – Merzouga

    After breakfast, depart for Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara Desert. En route, pass through Alnif, a town known for its fossils and dramatic desert landscapes. Arrive in Merzouga by late afternoon, where you’ll enjoy a camel trek into the Erg Chebbi dunes to experience a magnificent desert sunset. Afterward, head to your desert camp, where you’ll enjoy a traditional Berber dinner and spend the night under the stars in the vast Sahara.

    Day 3: Merzouga – Ziz Valley – Fes

    After an early sunrise camel trek over the dunes, return to Merzouga for breakfast. Today, journey through the Ziz Valley, known for its picturesque palm groves and fortified kasbahs. Pass through Erfoud, famous for its fossils, before heading to Fes, one of Morocco’s imperial cities. Upon arrival in Fes, you’ll have time to relax and explore the city’s vibrant medina.

    Day 4: Fes Guided Tour

    Explore the ancient city of Fes, the cultural and spiritual heart of Morocco, with a local guide. Visit the Fes el-Bali medina, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where you’ll see:
    Al-Qarawiyyin University, the oldest continuously operating educational institution in the world.
    Bou Inania Madrasa, an Islamic school known for its stunning architecture.
    Tanneries of Fes, where you can witness the centuries-old process of leather production.
    The Royal Palace and the Jewish Quarter (Mellah).

    In the evening, enjoy a traditional Moroccan meal and relax at your accommodation.

    Day 5: Fes – Meknes – Chefchaouen

    After breakfast, travel to Meknes, one of Morocco’s imperial cities, known for its beautiful gates, palaces, and historical sites. Visit the Bab Mansour, one of the most impressive gates in Morocco, and the Heritage of Moulay Ismail, a complex that includes the royal stables and the mausoleum of Moulay Ismail.

    Next, head to Chefchaouen, the blue city nestled in the Rif Mountains. Wander through the winding streets of this picturesque town and enjoy its vibrant blue-painted buildings and relaxed atmosphere. Chefchaouen is also a great place to explore local artisan shops for handmade goods.

    Day 6: Chefchaouen – Rabat – Casablanca – Marrakech

    After breakfast, depart Chefchaouen and head towards Rabat, the capital of Morocco. In Rabat, you can visit:
    The Hassan Tower, an incomplete minaret of a mosque.
    The Mausoleum of Mohammed V, which houses the tombs of King Mohammed V and his sons.
    The Royal Palace and the Kasbah of the Udayas, a historic fortress offering panoramic views of the ocean.

    Next, continue to Casablanca, Morocco’s largest city and economic hub. Visit the iconic Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the world, located by the Atlantic Ocean. After exploring Casablanca, head to Marrakech for an overnight stay.

    Day 7: Marrakech Guided Tour

    Today, enjoy a guided tour of Marrakech, one of Morocco’s most vibrant cities. Visit the famous Jemaa el-Fna square, known for its lively atmosphere, street performers, and food stalls. Explore the Koutoubia Mosque, the largest mosque in Marrakech, and visit the Bahia Palace, an example of stunning Moroccan architecture.

    Other highlights include the Majorelle Garden, once owned by Yves Saint Laurent, and the Saadian Tombs. After your tour, relax and unwind at your accommodation, or visit the souks to shop for souvenirs.

    Day 8:Departure from Marrakech

    On the final day of your tour, enjoy a relaxed breakfast and some free time to explore Marrakech on your own. Depending on your departure time, you may wish to visit additional attractions or do some last-minute shopping in the medina. Transfer to Marrakech airport for your departure.
