Your adventure begins with a morning departure from Marrakech, crossing the majestic High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260m). Stop at the famous UNESCO-listed Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a stunning fortress featured in many Hollywood movies. After exploring the site, continue to Ouarzazate, known as the “Gateway to the Sahara.” Visit the Atlas Film Studios and Taourirt Kasbah before heading to Dades Valley for an overnight stay in a traditional guesthouse.
After breakfast, journey through the Dades Valley’s winding roads and head to Todgha Gorge, a breathtaking canyon where towering rock walls rise 300 meters. Enjoy a walk along the gorge before continuing to Merzouga. Upon arrival, switch to camelback for an unforgettable sunset trek into the Erg Chebbi dunes. Start the day with a mesmerizing desert sunrise. After breakfast, explore the surrounding area, including the village of Khamlia, known for its Gnaoua music.
