    4 days From Agadir to desert of Chegaga

    Day 1:Day 1: Agadir – Taroudant – Ouarzazate – Zagora

    Departure from Agadir: Your adventure begins with an early morning pickup from your hotel in Agadir. Head east towards Taroudant, a charming town known as “Little Marrakesh” for its red-walled medina and vibrant souks. Take some time to explore the town and its artisanal markets.

    Journey to Ouarzazate: Continue through the Anti-Atlas Mountains, passing through the picturesque Tizi n’Test Pass (2,092 meters) with stunning views of valleys and Berber villages. Arrive in Ouarzazate, the “Hollywood of Morocco,” and visit the famous Taourirt Kasbah and Atlas Film Studios.

    Drive to Zagora: From Ouarzazate, travel through the Draa Valley, a lush oasis lined with palm groves and ancient kasbahs. Arrive in Zagora, a gateway to the Sahara, and check into a luxury riad for the night. Enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner and relax in the serene desert atmosphere.

    Day 2: Zagora – Tamegroute – M’hamid – Chegaga Dunes

    Morning in Zagora: After breakfast, explore Zagora and visit the Tamegroute Pottery Cooperative, where you can see traditional green pottery being made. Stop by the ancient Tamegroute Library, which houses rare manuscripts.

    Journey to M’hamid: Continue to M’hamid, the last town before the vast Sahara Desert. Here, you’ll switch to a 4×4 vehicle for the drive to the Chegaga Dunes, one of Morocco’s most remote and breathtaking desert landscapes.

    Chegaga Luxury Camp: Arrive at your luxury desert camp nestled among the towering dunes. Enjoy a warm welcome with mint tea, followed by a camel trek at sunset. Spend the evening under the stars with a traditional Moroccan dinner and live Berber music around a campfire.

    Day 3: Chegaga Desert Exploration

    Sunrise in the Desert: Wake up early to witness a magical sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, spend the morning exploring the Chegaga region. Take a 4×4 excursion to discover hidden oases, fossil-rich areas, and nomadic settlements.

    Day 4: Chegaga – Foum Zguid – Taznakht – Agadir

    Final Sunrise: Wake up early to catch one last sunrise over the dunes. The morning light creates a serene and magical atmosphere, perfect for reflection and photography.

    Breakfast and Farewell: After breakfast, bid farewell to the desert and begin your journey back to civilization. Your driver will take you to your next destination, whether it’s Zagora, Ouarzazate, or another city.

    Foum Zguid: Depart the desert and head to Foum Zguid, a small desert town surrounded by stunning landscapes. Enjoy lunch and take in the views of the Anti-Atlas Mountains.

    Taznakht: Continue to Taznakht, a town famous for its Berber carpets and handicrafts. Visit a local cooperative to see how these intricate rugs are made and learn about their cultural significance. Check into a comfortable guesthouse for the night and enjoy a relaxing evening.

    Return to Agadir: After breakfast, begin your journey back to Agadir. Drive through the Anti-Atlas Mountains, enjoying the scenic views of valleys, traditional villages, and rugged landscapes. Arrive in Agadir in the late afternoon, marking the end of your unforgettable desert adventure.
