Your adventure begins in Tangier, where Morocco meets Europe. Explore the bustling port, visit Cap Spartel where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Mediterranean Sea, and wander through the Kasbah and Grand Socco. Discover the legendary Hercules Caves before settling into your riad for the night.
Head towards the White Dove city of Tetouan, known for its blend of Andalusian and Moroccan architecture. After a short visit, continue to Chefchaouen, the iconic blue-washed town nestled in the Rif Mountains. Stroll through the medina’s narrow, winding streets, relax in Outa el Hammam Square, and enjoy the mountain breeze. Overnight stay in Chefchaouen.
After breakfast, depart for the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site filled with stunning mosaics and grand columns. Next, visit Meknes, known as the “Versailles of Morocco,” to explore the Bab Mansour Gate and Moulay Ismail’s Mausoleum. Continue to Fes for an evening of rest in your traditional riad.
Dive into Morocco’s spiritual and cultural heart. Explore Fes el-Bali, a maze-like medina packed with history. Visit the Al Quaraouiyine University (the oldest in the world), Bou Inania Madrasa, Chouara Tannery, and the artisan quarters. Depart Fes and pass through Ifrane, known as the “Switzerland of Morocco”, and Azrou’s cedar forests, home to wild monkeys. Cross Midelt and head through the Ziz Valley to reach the Merzouga Desert. Enjoy a camel trek and spend the night in a luxury desert camp under the stars.
After sunrise and breakfast, visit Rissani, famous for its lively souk and history. Travel through Alnif and arrive at the Zagora Desert, where you’ll experience a more rugged, peaceful side of the Sahara. Overnight in a desert camp or hotel.
